Purchasing Staff

About the role

The Purchasing Staff member will support the school by sourcing suitable suppliers and managing the purchase of classroom supplies, teaching materials, and consumable goods. Working closely with central, regional and purchasing teams, the role ensures compliance with the school's purchasing policies and contributes to continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for a wide range of school supplies.
• Process purchase orders for classroom and consumable items.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adherence to purchasing policies.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Support cross‑functional teams to improve purchasing management and efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or College Diploma.
• Strong numeracy, planning and organisational abilities.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills.
• Good command of English.
• Results‑oriented with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Office 365.
• Familiarity with Outlook for reporting and communication.
