Senior L&D / Training Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior L&D / Training Lead to head the learning and capability development workstream of a large‑scale transformation programme in the financial services sector. The role involves analysing training needs, designing curricula, delivering Train‑the‑Trainer sessions, leading delivery teams and ensuring knowledge transfer across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis and define learning objectives.
• Design and develop curricula, instructional materials and training programs.
• Lead Train‑the‑Trainer initiatives and deliver training sessions.
• Manage a team of trainers and coordinate knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align learning solutions with strategic goals.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional experience in Training, L&D or Capability Development.
• Strong background in banking or financial services, especially Affluent, Priority, Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Previous senior roles such as Head of Training, Training Manager, Academy Lead or L&D Lead.
• Proven track record of owning a training portfolio and leading large‑scale learning initiatives.
