Senior Solution Architect (Deliverable Owner)

About the role

ACB is looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the review, governance and quality assurance of strategic technology and transformation deliverables across large-scale enterprise initiatives. The role works closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, external partners and project leadership to make sure deliverables match business objectives, architecture principles, implementation feasibility and enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review and acceptance of architecture and solution deliverables, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and quality expectations, and assess completeness, consistency and implementation readiness.
• Coordinate reviews among business units, technology teams, project stakeholders and external partners.
• Evaluate architecture artefacts, solution designs, operating models, business requirements, technology assessments and implementation recommendations, identifying gaps, risks, assumptions and dependencies.
• Validate alignment between business needs and proposed technology solutions and ensure recommendations are actionable at enterprise scale.
• Act as a trusted advisor to project leadership and stakeholders, drive consensus on architecture decisions and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assess architecture, operational, integration, security and technology risks, check governance compliance and escalate critical issues.
• Contribute to improving architecture governance, quality frameworks and review practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise technology, solution architecture or digital transformation.
• Minimum 5 years in architecture governance, architecture review or solution assurance roles.
• Experience with large, complex enterprise transformation programs and with multiple stakeholders across business and technology domains.
• Preferred: banking, financial services, insurance or other regulated industry experience; experience reviewing deliverables from consulting firms, vendors or system integrators; architecture governance and steering committee experience; TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate or equivalent certification.
