Software-Hardware Integration Verification & Validation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software‑Hardware Integration Verification and Validation Engineer to join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City. You will focus on low‑level software development, driver implementation, and board bring‑up for advanced SoCs in embedded environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop board support packages (BSP) and perform register‑level programming for chiplets, microcontrollers, and PMICs.
• Implement, debug, and configure device drivers and peripherals.
• Customize bootloaders (RPUs and U‑Boot for APUs) and implement secure boot solutions.
• Integrate and optimise Linux kernel drivers and overall performance.
• Integrate and troubleshoot communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, PCI, UCIe, USB, LPDDR, Camera, and DisplayPort.
• Perform hardware‑software integration, board bring‑up, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Develop hardware‑specific test tools covering system‑level testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of experience in embedded software development and hardware‑software integration.
• Strong expertise in low‑level programming, driver development, and bootloader customization.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux kernel integration and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to work with a variety of communication protocols and hardware debugging tools.
