Storekeeper (Vietnamese Local) - Phu Quoc

About the role

Rixos, a hotel group established in 2000 in Turkey, is looking for a highly organised and efficient Vietnamese-speaking Storekeeper to join its team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The role manages inventory, keeps operations running smoothly and maintains accurate stock records.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of goods and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerised inventory management systems
• Carry out regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
• Process requisitions and issue materials to various departments
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all items, including hazardous materials
• Work with the procurement team to keep stock levels optimal
• Keep an organised storage system and help prepare periodic inventory reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storeroom and take part in continuous improvement of inventory processes
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and keep the storage area clean and orderly

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse or inventory management role
• Ability to lift and move items up to 20 kg
• Familiarity with warehouse health and safety regulations and stock rotation methods
• Ability to work efficiently in a tropical climate
• Warehouse management certification preferred

Required skills

• Inventory management systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Basic maths for inventory calculations
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication
