Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer will own the quality performance of assigned suppliers, ensuring that their processes and products consistently meet Medline's quality standards. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall supplier quality performance, maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and achieve defined quality metrics.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal and external customers to ensure supplier compliance with Medline quality requirements.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of supplier quality systems, product quality, and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct data‑driven analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support audits and assessments, including ISO 9001 compliance and internal auditor activities.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong data analysis capabilities to uncover and resolve quality issues.
• Experience with quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards; internal auditor experience is a plus.
• Lean or Six Sigma project experience is advantageous.
