Supplier Quality & Industrialization Engineer

About the role

The company, a US‑based commercial furniture brand, is expanding its quality team in Vietnam. As a Supplier Quality & Industrialization Engineer you will be embedded in supplier factories, ensuring that products meet the brand’s quality standards from pilot to full production.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections and audits at supplier factories across the region.
• Validate pilot builds and support production‑ramp activities.
• Implement and monitor PPAP, APQP, FAI, and 8D processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with BIFMA standards and category‑specific test requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or industrialization.
• Hands‑on experience with upholstered furniture manufacturing and OEM supplier environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspections, and production‑launch processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Mandarin is a plus.
