Test Software Developer – Embedded C & AUTOSAR

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Test Software Developer to join its automotive ECU team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will work on embedded software for automotive applications, focusing on testing, debugging and validation of AUTOSAR components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support embedded software for automotive ECU applications.
• Write and maintain test scripts, perform debugging and validation activities.
• Work with Base Software and embedded C programming.
• Utilise AUTOSAR software components and automotive communication interfaces.
• Analyse and test using tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe.
• Apply basic Python scripting to automate testing tasks.
• Perform hardware circuit analysis when required.
• Use engineering tools (Git, DOORS, JIRA) for development, requirement tracking and issue management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure software quality and delivery readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in embedded software development or automotive ECU testing.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with COM and DIAG modules is a plus.
