Testing Tool Development Intern

About the role

Bosch's R&D centre in Ho Chi Minh City is looking for an internship candidate to work on testing tool development. The internship is split between low-code application and tool development (80%) and laboratory and testing support (20%). It suits undergraduate students studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement low-code applications, dashboards and web-based features supporting laboratory processes and equipment applications.
• Maintain and improve existing lab applications, and build tools for managing, visualizing and analyzing laboratory data.
• Create intuitive interfaces for lab personnel and write user guides and work instructions.
• Work with Testing Engineers and lab staff to turn their needs into digital solutions, test applications, troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Document application logic, workflows and data structures.
• Prepare test samples and support mechanical, electrical and other tests under supervision.
• Support laboratory management activities such as 5S, safety compliance, inventory management and document control.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Interest or basic experience with low-code/no-code platforms, especially Power Apps and Power BI.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python) is an advantage.
• Good English, written and spoken.
• Analytical, proactive and responsible, with strong self-planning, fast learning and team spirit.
