Trade Spending Manager – Trade Marketing

About the role

The Trade Spending Manager will lead the planning, execution and performance evaluation of trade spending and channel development initiatives within the General Trade (GT) channel. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the role ensures that trade investments are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑, mid‑ and long‑term trade spending plans for the assigned GT scope.
• Execute channel development strategies, from budgeting to on‑ground implementation.
• Monitor and evaluate trade promotion performance, adjusting tactics to optimize ROI.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Administration teams.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance/Commercial Control, or GT Sales.
• Proven experience in channel execution or trade program implementation, preferably in a GT selling environment.
• Knowledge of accounting, compliance and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Winning mindset and result‑oriented attitude.
