Account Specialist – R&I, Hanoi

About the role

AstraZeneca Vietnam is hiring an Account Specialist for its Research & Innovation (R&I) function in Hanoi. The role covers territory management, customer and key account management, business planning and compliance within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Territory management: engage healthcare professionals on approved indications and product efficacy/safety to support on-label prescribing; work with the Line Manager on a local strategy and business plan; drive performance and forecasts; maintain deep knowledge of the market and demographics.
• Customer management: identify key decision makers, maintain good relationships with key customers, provide commercial operation support aligned with BU objectives, and keep market and customer information updated.
• Key account business planning: monitor business performance regularly and provide quick solutions to sudden changes in market behaviour of targeted accounts.
• Compliance: comply with all regulations, including interactions with healthcare professionals and sample distribution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or medicine.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field.
• Experience in a similar position in an MNC pharmaceutical company is desirable.
