Accounts Receivable & Refund Accountant

About the role

The Accounts Receivable & Refund Accountant ensures that customer payments are received on time and manages the full refund cycle for container deposits and excess payments. This position supports cash flow stability and maintains strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to guarantee timely payments and prevent overdue balances.
• Execute the complete refund process for container deposits and excess payments.
• Verify customer documentation and coordinate with relevant departments for approval.
• Communicate refund status and resolve any discrepancies with customers.
• Maintain accurate records in the accounting system and support month‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or candidate with experience in a similar role within a shipping or freight forwarding company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Foreign Trade, Export‑Import or a related field.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments.
