Area Development Program Manager – Nam Tra My

About the role

The Area Development Program Manager (ADPM) leads and oversees all programming and project activities within the Nam Tra My area, ensuring child well‑being outcomes align with World Vision’s mission and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the ADP team, fostering alignment with World Vision’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
• Ensure effective implementation of technical programs, core project models, sponsorship operations, and community engagement processes.
• Manage resources responsibly, maintain compliance with standards, and deliver high‑quality execution of activities.
• Build and sustain partnerships with local government, community stakeholders, and partners to secure ownership and sustainability of interventions.
• Collaborate with People & Culture to recruit, onboard, and develop staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and addressing staffing issues.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, Kaizen, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the ADP team.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience in program or project environments.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian or development program implementation and donor compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies, community groups, and partner organizations.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and mentorship skills.
• Commitment to World Vision’s values and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
