Automotive Embedded System Architect (with Joining Bonus)

About the role

Bosch Cross-Domain Compute Enhance (XC-CE) team at Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSV) in Ho Chi Minh City is looking for a full-time System Architect. The team develops Vehicle Compute-ECU, Body-domain and Zone ECU, Perfectly Keyless, Vehicle Integration Platform and Central Gateway. The System Architect defines, develops and maintains complex automotive embedded systems and system-of-systems, acting as technical owner of the system concept and providing technical leadership across System, Software, Hardware, Integration, Verification & Validation, Security and Functional Safety teams, in line with ASPICE and Bosch development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, document and manage stakeholder requirements, define acceptance criteria and traceability, and run impact analysis for requirement changes
• Define and maintain system architecture, including interfaces, trade-off studies and decomposition into hardware, software and verification work products
• Serve as technical lead, mentor System Engineers and coordinate system engineering across teams
• Support verification and validation, including test strategies, validation plans and corrective actions
• Own ASPICE SYS.1, SYS.2 and SYS.3 work products and support audits and process improvement
• Act as technical contact for customers, lead requirement clarification and technical alignment meetings, and present system concepts

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years in automotive embedded systems development, including 5+ years in system engineering
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Nice to have: experience with LIN, NFC, radar, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, CCC standards, car connectivity and vehicle-level validation

Required skills

• Strong expertise in system engineering, system-of-systems architecture, requirements engineering and system architecture design
• V-Model lifecycle and ASPICE-compliant development
• AUTOSAR-based systems
• CAN, UWB and BLE; good understanding of embedded software, hardware, microcontrollers and system integration
