Embedded Software Engineer – In-Vehicle Network Communication (Fresher)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Company Limited (BGSV), the first Bosch software development centre in Southeast Asia, is hiring a fresher Embedded Software Engineer for its EPC department, which develops embedded software for engine and vehicle control units. You will join a multi-country development team working on in-vehicle network communication for European projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for in-vehicle network communication in automotive systems
• Handle and support requirement engineering, including impact analysis
• Perform static and dynamic testing from system level down to software component level using HiL / SiL environments
• Carry out system and system integration testing, and software component static analysis
• Maintain baselines and variants to ensure traceability between requirements, work products and test reports
• Take part in problem identification and resolution, such as recording anomalies found during testing
• Report working status and escalate blockers to the project manager

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field; fresh graduates are highly welcome
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving mindset and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Willingness to learn and openness to technical training, as on-the-job training is provided
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Required skills

• A basic understanding of embedded systems, automotive systems, in-vehicle communication or AUTOSAR is a plus but not mandatory
• No prior automotive experience is required
