Fresher Embedded Software Engineer (C focused)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Company Limited (BGSV), Bosch's first software development centre in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Fresher Embedded Software Engineer focused on C programming. You will join an international Scrum team working on scalable and reliable embedded software, with opportunities to support security-related initiatives and CI/CD (DevOps) pipelines in a large project with more than 150 software developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software components in C.
• Contribute to system architecture and software integration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.
• Establish professional processes and carry out architectural optimisations aimed at return on investment.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Very good C coding skills; a Codility test is given during the technical interview.
• Fluent English communication.
• It is an advantage (not mandatory) to have good requirement engineering and software design skills.

Required skills

• Embedded system development: software build process, microcontrollers, debugging tools, real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Knowledge of memory stacks such as FLASH, EEPROM and EEPROM.
