Backend Engineer (Generative AI)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer specialized in Generative AI to develop production‑grade AI features that enhance search, recommendation and personalization across Vietnamworks and its microsites. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI‑powered components, from design and evaluation to optimization, deployment and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reliable Generative AI services that integrate with LLM APIs and open‑source models.
• Develop agentic systems, managed agents, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and ranking/relevance algorithms for job matching.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to define feature requirements and performance metrics.
• Monitor deployed models, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of delivering features end‑to‑end (design, evaluation, deployment, monitoring).
• Hands‑on experience building production‑grade agentic systems and AI/ML or search/recommendation pipelines.
