Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will report directly to the General Director and play a pivotal role in driving Gulf Energy's growth strategy. This position oversees business development, investment, M&A, and project development activities, ensuring successful deal execution and financing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end or partial M&A, strategic cooperation, and DPPA transactions, including deal sourcing and evaluation.
• Develop and execute investment strategies and commercial initiatives to expand the company’s market presence.
• Drive financial structuring, partner negotiations, and cross‑functional coordination for project financing.
• Oversee business development and project development pipelines, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA Level I, II, or III are an advantage.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in Business Development, M&A, Investment, or Project Development.
