Demi Chef de Partie (Breakfast – Russian Speaking)

About the role

Rixos Phu Quoc, a luxury beachfront resort on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, is looking for a Demi Chef de Partie for its breakfast kitchen. You will help maintain high food quality and contribute to guests' dining experiences in a fast-paced resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with consistent taste and presentation
• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing your assigned kitchen section
• Maintain a clean, organised work area in line with food safety and hygiene standards
• Work with the team to deliver food on time
• Help plan menus and develop recipes, keeping traditional flavours
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and recipes
• Manage inventory and stock levels for your section
• Help control food costs and minimise waste
• Comply with health and safety regulations

Required profile

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in high-volume restaurants or resorts
• Strong knowledge of several cuisines, with an interest in Vietnamese cuisine
• Current food safety certification
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand long hours and lift heavy items

Required skills

• Proficiency with kitchen equipment and tools
• English communication; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
• Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
