Embedded Software Engineer – Airbag Systems

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Ho Chi Minh City as an Embedded Software Engineer working on safety‑critical airbag systems. You will be part of a multinational team delivering high‑quality software components from concept to release.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer and system requirements and define software component specifications.
• Design the software architecture and detailed implementation for airbag control units.
• Develop, unit‑test and integrate C code on microcontroller platforms.
• Maintain component quality, manage µC resource targets, and support maintenance releases.
• Investigate defect root causes, estimate effort, plan tasks and track progress.
• Collaborate with partners in China, Japan, India and Germany, coordinating daily activities independently.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an embedded software developer.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical‑Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded microcontroller development.
• Good knowledge of requirements, change and configuration management processes (V‑model).
• Fluent spoken and written English.
