Expert for High-Performance SoC BSP Integration (POSIX kernel, device drivers)

About the role

As an Expert for High‑Performance SoC BSP Integration you will lead the development of the foundational software stack for next‑generation System‑on‑Chip and Chiplet platforms used in Bosch’s Automotive Chiplet Systems. The role focuses on deep work within POSIX‑based environments such as QNX and Linux, delivering high‑performance kernel modules, device drivers and bootloader components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise POSIX kernel modules and device drivers for high‑speed interfaces (PCIe, UCIe).
• Port existing Linux drivers (kernel and user‑space) to target Linux distributions and ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and maintain bootloader and low‑level software components for SoC architectures.
• Build and contribute to multi‑layer Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to support automated testing and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware and system teams to validate performance, scalability and reliability of the software stack.

Required profile

• 8+ years of embedded software development experience, with a focus on BSP, kernel and device‑driver development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working with POSIX operating systems such as QNX and Linux.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture and high‑speed interface standards.
