Job description
About the role
CoverGo, a global no-code insurance platform for health, life and P&C insurance, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Support and Observability to join its global engineering support team. The role sits in the frontline technical team, working directly with customers, troubleshooting and resolving platform issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve systems, tools and processes. It is support-heavy, so solid software engineering skills and strong observability knowledge are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Triage and troubleshoot support issues, escalating them to project or product engineering teams when needed.
- Analyze system behavior using observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing) to diagnose root causes of incidents in distributed systems.
- Debug application code (mainly .NET or NodeJS) and contribute fixes or code-level solutions.
- Take ownership of technical issues, investigate and resolve them at the code level.
- Work with the technical stack (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Dapr, Terraform, Temporal, Mongo Atlas, PostgreSQL) and platform languages (.NET, NodeJS, Java).
- Configure enterprise monitoring solutions and conduct post-incident reviews.
- Automate support needs, develop runbooks and maintain support tools.
- Participate in infrastructure capacity planning, demand forecasting, performance analysis and systems tuning.
- Help define and drive adoption of KPIs such as CSAT, NPS, resolution time and first contact resolution.
- Explore AI automation and take part in strategic discussions on customer lifecycle, retention and satisfaction.
Required profile
- At least 6 years of experience in support or full stack engineering focused on delivery, observability and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience leading a squad or team, coordinating members, driving delivery and mentoring.
- Track record of diagnosing and resolving complex issues in distributed systems.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills; customer-first, empathetic and solutions-driven.
- Able to switch contexts frequently and handle multiple projects at once.
- Previous experience in insurance or InsurTech is an advantage.
Required skills
- Hands-on software development with .NET, Node.js and React or Vue.js.
- Observability platforms for metrics, logs and tracing in microservice architectures.
- Proficiency with customer support platforms such as Jira and Zendesk.
What we offer
- Fully remote position.
- Competitive remuneration package, annual leave and annual performance bonus.
- Stock options after 6 months and health insurance.
- Remote work allowance, company activities and events, and a learning and development plan.
