Production Planning Officer

About the role

The Production Planning Officer will be responsible for translating demand forecasts into actionable production plans that balance current inventory with future manufacturing capacity. Working closely with operations and procurement, the role ensures that the company can meet product demand while respecting capacity constraints and material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse demand forecasts and determine optimal production schedules.
• Assess manufacturing capacity and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and logistics teams to secure required materials and resources.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to minimise excess or shortages.
• Manage lead times and order cycle times to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Utilise SAP and Zoho Analytics for data‑driven planning and risk assessment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, International Trade or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production planning or a similar role.
• Strong competencies in production planning management, lead‑time management, order‑cycle management, risk management and inventory control.
• Proactive attitude, high integrity, disciplined work style and meticulous attention to detail.
