Risk Officer – Analytical Focus

About the role

Sucafina, a leading sustainable coffee company, is seeking a Risk Officer to support its global trading activities. The role focuses on monitoring exposures, ensuring contract compliance, and collaborating with the Instant Risk Committee to safeguard the business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily positions such as M2M exposure, inventory exposure, overdue receivables and prepayments.
• Identify non‑compliant contracts and escalate issues to the Instant Risk Committee.
• Perform due‑diligence checks for new accounts and conduct annual reviews of existing accounts in CRM/GSOL.
• Maintain up‑to‑date credit limits and report to the Head Office Risk & Compliance department.
• Follow up on over‑limit alerts, coordinate with traders and manage performance and credit risk insurance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commodity Trading, Risk, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in risk or credit management, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as French are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM and GSOL systems.
