Sales Assistant – Food Ingredients Industry

About the role

The Sales Assistant will support the sales team of a food ingredients company by handling administrative tasks, managing sales documentation, tracking orders and deliveries, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role ensures smooth sales operations, timely communication with clients, and effective internal coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and archive sales contracts and related documents.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and resolve any logistical issues.
• Maintain and update the ERP system with sales orders, customer information, and inventory data.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments to ensure order fulfillment.
• Provide regular sales reports and data analysis to the sales manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar sales support role, preferably within the food ingredients, flavors, or food additives sector.
• Basic proficiency in English; intermediate level is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication abilities.
