Senior Consultant – Financial Services Risk Management

About the role
EY Vietnam is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join its Financial Services Risk Management team. You will work on advisory projects for banks and financial institutions, helping them meet regulatory requirements and improve risk modelling practices.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to risk advisory engagements, focusing on credit model development, validation and RWA calculations.
- Support clients in Basel II/III compliance and related regulatory reporting.
- Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated risk solutions.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in banking or finance, with a focus on credit risk modelling or regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Strong knowledge of Basel II/III frameworks and RWA methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and VBA.
Required skills
- Python programming
- Advanced Excel
- VBA scripting
- Database handling (e.g., SQL)
