Senior Medical Representative - Cardiovascular & Metabolism

About the role

Novartis is looking for experienced sales professionals to promote its cardiovascular and metabolism products to medical practitioners and allied health care professionals in Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau. The role reports directly to the Associate Area Manager and covers achieving sales targets and promoting products using specialist knowledge of the assigned therapeutic area. It is a hybrid position and Novartis does not offer relocation support.

Key responsibilities

• Execute call plans for customers, including medical experts from customer or academic communities, reaching the right person with the right message at the right frequency.
• Develop an understanding of customer organisations and networks and the influences affecting customer decisions.
• Use tools such as iPads and brochures to present products to healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
• Apply product strategies to build and run territory plans, working with key accounts (hospitals, clinics) and colleagues across functions to exceed objectives and quarterly targets.
• Provide insight into local healthcare systems and identify new business opportunities with current or potential accounts.
• Communicate stakeholder insights internally and support the development of new business strategies.
• Ensure products and supporting services are widely understood and available to more patients and customers.
• Use reporting tools such as Agora and QTQ reports on time and work within ethical and compliance policies.
• Act as a communication bridge between the field and Marketing and FLM/FFM, and take on other assignments as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Medicine.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive learning and a strong aptitude for collaboration.
