Tax Intern

About the role

DFDL, a legal and tax advisory firm founded in 1994 with offices in several Southeast Asian countries, is recruiting a full-time Tax Intern for its Ho Chi Minh City office. The intern reports to the Tax Consultant, Tax Manager or Tax Director and works alongside partners, the Deputy MD and all office staff in a multicultural environment. The internship lasts 6 months, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support relevant to client matters.
• Support tax compliance and tax advisory work under the supervision of the Tax Consultant, Tax Manager or Tax Director.
• Research tax regulations and precedents under supervision.
• Draft client correspondence under supervision.
• Carry out other duties as required from time to time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as accounting, finance, economics or law; an accounting or finance background is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good command of English and Vietnamese.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Good analytical skills, logical thinking and enjoyment of working with numbers and writing.
• Careful, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
