Component & System Test Engineer (Automation)

About the role

As a Component & System Test Engineer at Bosch Group, you will lead test automation projects for embedded software in automotive and industrial domains. You will work closely with development teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and design comprehensive test cases.
• Implement, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Document results, create bug tickets, and track defect resolution.
• Review and approve component and system requirement specifications.
• Identify and apply suitable tools for test architecture and automation.
• Prototype innovative testing ideas and ensure re‑usability of test assets.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Embedded Electronics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software testing, preferably in automotive or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, test levels, and defect management processes.
• Experience with hardware‑software integration and test environments.
