About the role

The Senior Chemical Engineer will lead the formulation, innovation and specification of polymer components used in footwear production. Working closely with product development and manufacturing teams, the role ensures that shoe‑making polymers meet performance, cost and delivery targets while driving advanced‑technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize polymer formulations for footwear applications.
• Lead chemical management and the shoe‑bonding process in the factory.
• Monitor polymer component production to guarantee quality, on‑time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Conduct and lead quality audits of materials and processes.
• Collaborate on innovation projects and advanced‑technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, with applicable certifications or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in footwear polymer or related chemical engineering roles.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and project support.
• Standard working hours and professional career band expectations.
