Automotive Test Lead / Manager (Joining Bonus)

About the role

The VnV Architect (Automotive Test Lead/Manager) will design and oversee high‑quality test engineering across multiple test levels and scenarios, ensuring early defect detection throughout the software development life‑cycle. The role focuses on defining verification and validation strategies for Bosch’s automotive software products, such as Perfectly Keyless (PK).

Key responsibilities

• Define, monitor and baseline the project VnV strategy, aligning it with customer, stakeholder and system requirements.
• Lead test activities including automation, regression, penetration, HiL/SiL testing and ensure compliance with ASPICE standards.
• Establish test processes, procedures and tools, and supervise their execution across the project.
• Consult the team on technical aspects, test methods, and environment boundaries (SIL, HIL, etc.).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, mechatronics or computer science.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive software development and embedded testing.
• Strong self‑discipline, motivation and teamwork spirit.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CAN protocol (mandatory) and preferably LIN, UWB, NFC, BLE.
• Proficiency in V‑model development, ASPICE compliance and HiL/SiL testing.
• Automation expertise, including AI‑powered test automation and ECU flashing sequences.
• Scripting in CAPL and Python (mandatory).
• Familiarity with test tools such as Vector VT System and knowledge of security and safety concepts.
