Behavioral Health Coach (Remote, Ho Chi Minh City)

About the role

Intellect is looking for a Behavioral Health Coach to join its telehealth platform, supporting clients' mental health and personal growth according to their individual needs and goals. The work is mainly done in scheduled 30-minute video sessions on the platform. It is a freelance remote role with flexible business hours; local candidates are preferred but others can also be considered, and the role can supplement a current job or private practice.

Key responsibilities

• Work with sub-clinical cases such as work stress, procrastination and work-life balance.
• Help clients set up personal or career goals and relationships.
• Run group wellness sessions on topics such as stress management, resilience, work-life balance, mindfulness, healthy workplace habits and emotional well-being, encouraging participation and offering practical strategies.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform.

Required profile

• An active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, or a Master's or postgraduate diploma in Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
• ICF coaches must have at least 200 coaching hours; counsellors and clinical psychologists must have at least 300 clinical hours after graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Prior experience in EAP, counselling working adults or coaching managerial roles is prioritized.

Required skills

• Coaching techniques and/or evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT and SFBT.
