Bridge Hardware Engineer (Japanese/Chinese Speaking) – Entry Level

About the role

As a Bridge Hardware Engineer, you will act as the technical liaison between Japanese or Chinese customers and Bosch's internal software, mechanical and validation teams. You will support change‑management activities for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that product modifications are implemented smoothly and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and interpret customer requirements in Japanese or Chinese.
• Perform hardware design analysis and component‑level compatibility checks.
• Coordinate product‑level EMC and reliability testing.
• Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and assess technical impacts.
• Work closely with plant production teams for support and implementation.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and other validation teams to drive successful change implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in board‑level hardware design (open to fresh graduates with strong communication skills).
• Proficiency in English and at least one of Japanese or Chinese.
• Analytical thinking, good teamwork and project coordination abilities.
