End-of-project Evaluation Consultant

About the role

ChildFund Vietnam is seeking an End‑of-project Evaluation Consultant to lead the final assessment of the Quang Hoa District Project Management Board’s initiatives. The consultant will work closely with local authorities and community partners to capture lessons learned, evaluate outcomes, and ensure sustainable hand‑over of project components.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of education, health, child protection, livelihood and WASH interventions delivered in the Quang Hoa district.
• Analyse project data, interview stakeholders and produce evidence‑based reports on impact and sustainability.
• Identify gaps in capacity and recommend concrete knowledge‑transfer actions for local partners.
• Facilitate workshops with district leaders to validate findings and co‑design transition plans.
• Document best practices and lessons learned for replication in other ChildFund programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project evaluation or monitoring & evaluation within international development or NGOs.
• Familiarity with child rights, education, health, WASH and community development sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce clear, actionable reports.
• Experience working with local government bodies and community‑based organisations in Vietnam or similar contexts.
