IT Quality Assistant – Software Quality Assurance

About the role

The IT Quality Assistant will support Bosch Global Software Technologies in ensuring that IT products, services and solutions meet defined quality standards. You will work closely with project teams to define quality targets, implement quality frameworks and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to identify quality requirements and set quality targets for IT products, services and solutions.
• Design and tailor an efficient quality framework that fits project needs and supports ongoing development.
• Define risk‑management approaches for IT products, services and solutions.
• Create and execute the IT quality assurance plan.
• Assist in problem‑solving activities (e.g., 8D) and establish continuous improvement processes.
• Monitor compliance with processes and take corrective actions to ensure proper development and maintenance.
• Conduct spot checks to verify adherence to operational procedures.
• Act as moderator for Release Gates and Quality Gates, ensuring release criteria are met.
• Report quality metrics as defined in the quality assurance plan.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in quality management systems, especially in software process quality.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with software testing and code review (a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented, empathetic and motivated to work as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus.
• Strong consultation skills.
