Network Security Specialist – APAC (Hanoi)

About the role

Airbus Vietnam LLC is looking for a Network Security Specialist to drive the design, deployment and continuous optimisation of the company’s network infrastructure across the APAC region. The role also provides on‑site IT support to business users in Vietnam and acts as the local liaison for the global Digital operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable LAN, WAN, wireless, security and automation solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto and Bluecoat technologies.
• Support the build‑and‑run of connectivity services across 2 divisions, 11 countries and more than 45 sites, ensuring compliance with Airbus group standards.
• Collaborate with architects to develop technical roadmaps and with cross‑functional teams to resolve connectivity incidents.
• Assist the APAC/Central CyberSecurity team in enforcing security policies and deploying secure infrastructure.
• Provide on‑site IT support for endpoint devices, PC imaging, patch deployment and incident handling.
• Manage the local Digital budget, procurement, asset inventory and vendor relationships.

• Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower, VPN gateways, Cisco ISE, Bluecoat proxy.
• Network automation, scripting or programming.
• High availability, disaster recovery and data‑center networking.
• Network monitoring tools, SNMP and performance optimisation.
