Regional Leader - East Asia

About the role

As the Regional Leader for East Asia, you will steer the regional operations of World Vision, overseeing activities across eight countries and ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, core values, and global strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage regional operations for Cambodia, China, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure effective ministry management in line with World Vision’s global objectives.
• Coordinate all functional areas of the regional office, including program delivery, finance, communications, and partnerships.
• Lead and develop a multi‑cultural leadership team to achieve regional goals.

Required profile

• At least ten (10) years of senior strategic leadership experience in the humanitarian, international development, or related sector.
• Proven success leading complex organizations or multi‑country portfolios.
• Senior leadership experience within Asia.
• Minimum five (5) years managing a multi‑cultural leadership team.
