Software Engineer Intern – AI‑Assisted Development

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies’ Innovation & Technology team in Ho Chi Minh City as a Software Engineer Intern. You will help create software prototypes and proof‑of‑concept tools, working in a learning‑focused environment that does not involve production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in building software prototypes and internal R&D tools.
• Use AI‑assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot as part of the development workflow.
• Participate in user research activities, including interviewing, observing, and synthesising feedback from prototype users.
• Contribute to design and iteration cycles based on user input.
• Document work and share findings with the team.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Solid foundation in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted coding tools in personal or academic projects.
• Built at least one personal project that real users have tried.
• Curious about user behaviour and able to work independently while communicating progress clearly.
