Assistant Manager, Sale Compensation

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Sale Compensation is responsible for the accurate calculation, validation, reconciliation and payment of commissions, bonuses and allowances across Agency and Bancassurance channels. The role also supports compensation-related system enhancements, UAT activities, data analysis and stakeholder inquiries. The position is based in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, validate and reconcile monthly and quarterly commissions, bonuses and allowances.
• Prepare reports, accruals and compensation statements.
• Investigate and resolve compensation discrepancies so payments are accurate and timely.
• Support compensation-related inquiries from internal teams and distribution channels.
• Take part in UAT, product launches, compensation scheme implementation and system enhancements.
• Prepare test scenarios, validate results, run smoke tests and support post-release monitoring.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Finance, Operations and Distribution teams on compensation matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Commissions Administration or Business Analysis.
• Experience in life insurance, agency compensation or bancassurance operations is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with data reconciliation and validation.
• Working knowledge of SQL is required.
• Experience in UAT, system implementation or business requirement analysis is preferred.
• Experience with Databricks, Oracle or other data platforms is a strong advantage.
