Automotive AUTOSAR Base Software Developer (1‑year contract)

About the role

The position is part of Bosch's Horizontal NE engineering organization, focused on developing reusable software assets for ADAS and vehicle computing platforms. You will work with global ADAS teams to design, implement and integrate AUTOSAR Classic base software and diagnostics for next‑generation driver‑assistance ECUs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded AUTOSAR Classic software (BSW and low‑level modules) for radar, camera, sensor‑fusion and domain‑controller ECUs using C/C++.
• Configure, integrate and debug AUTOSAR BSW modules, with emphasis on diagnostics, CAN communication, failure management and PDM.
• Collaborate with system, hardware and application teams worldwide to ensure end‑to‑end integration of BSW with ADAS applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and validation.
• Support standardisation and reuse of software components across multiple XC product lines.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded automotive software development.
• Hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR Classic architecture and BSW development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming for safety‑critical systems.
• Familiarity with CAN communication, diagnostics protocols and failure management concepts.
