Business Development Manager

About the role

This position is for a results‑driven Business Development Manager who will act as a sales hunter within the freight forwarding sector. The focus is on generating new business, building a robust pipeline, and delivering revenue growth for the company’s air and sea freight services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve assigned sales targets, both volume and gross profit.
• Identify, prospect, and convert new customers across US, EU and intra‑Asia markets.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for air and sea freight forwarding.
• Manage existing client relationships and expand business opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts, ensure margin targets, and monitor commercial performance.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of field sales (hunter) experience in freight forwarding.
• Proven track record in air and sea freight (import/export) sales.
• Experience serving US, European or intra‑Asian markets.
• Existing client portfolio or network is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
