Director, Sales Specialist – Acceptance & Merchant Solutions (SEA)

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a commercially‑driven leader to head the sales of its Merchant Cloud portfolio across Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales Specialist, Acceptance & Merchant Solutions SEA, you will own revenue growth, pipeline development and deal execution for acquirers, payment facilitators, ISVs, PSPs and large merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Own Merchant Cloud revenue targets, including new‑logo acquisition, account expansion and upsell of gateway and value‑added services.
• Drive end‑to‑end sales cycles: qualification, value articulation, pricing, negotiation and closure of high‑value, complex opportunities.
• Define and execute go‑to‑market strategies tailored to SEA market needs and partner models.
• Build senior relationships with priority acquirers, payment facilitators, ISVs, gateway partners and strategic merchants, creating joint growth plans.
• Collaborate with global and regional product and pricing teams to shape commercial proposals and ensure deal governance.

Required profile

• Proven track record in selling payment or fintech solutions at a senior or director level.
• Deep understanding of merchant acquiring, payment facilitation and digital commerce ecosystems.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multi‑market partnerships.
• Excellent analytical and commercial structuring skills.
