Embedded Software Developer (0-6 years experience)

About the role

Bosch is developing energy‑efficient powertrain systems to address climate challenges. The Powertrain team in Ho Chi Minh City needs embedded software developers to design, implement and test software for automotive power‑train applications, including internal combustion engines and electric drives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and design embedded software/test suites for automotive power‑train domain.
• Develop, integrate and configure software components on micro‑controllers/micro‑processors.
• Propose technical solutions, document designs and handle design changes.
• Develop and execute unit and functional tests, and create integration test plans.
• Research new technologies and methods to improve automotive system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Up to 6 years of experience in embedded software development; fresh graduates with strong academic background are welcome.
• Good English communication skills; Japanese proficiency (N4 or higher) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with micro‑controllers or micro‑processors.
• Familiarity with Real‑Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and debugger‑based testing.
• Knowledge of automation control and embedded software integration.
