Embedded Software Developer – Flash Bootloader

About the role

The Flash Bootloader Developer will design and implement flash bootloader solutions for automotive ECUs. The role is part of Bosch Global Software Technologies, focusing on AUTOSAR‑based communication, diagnostics and security. You will work closely with customers to define flashing sequences and support problem resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop flash bootloader software for ECU platforms.
• Implement communication protocols, diagnostic services, flashing and security features based on AUTOSAR.
• Define and evaluate customer‑specific flashing sequences.
• Analyse software requirements related to flashing and assist customers in troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive embedded development; fresh graduates with strong academic records are also welcome.
• Proficient in C programming and scripting languages such as CAPL and Python.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture (COM, Diag, Security) and UDS ISO 14429.
