IT Solution Architect

About the role

The IT Solution Architect at ACB designs end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements and operational capabilities. The role bridges business needs and technical implementation, turning requirements into scalable, secure and sustainable architectures while supporting project delivery and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application, integration, infrastructure, cloud and data solutions, including solution architectures, technical blueprints and system design documents
• Evaluate technology options and recommend platforms, frameworks and tools, providing architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers and technical teams to understand requirements and communicate architecture decisions
• Review and approve solution designs, conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments, and support architecture governance boards and technical review committees
• Define application integration patterns and API strategies, and design scalable, reusable architectures with interoperable systems
• Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions with high availability, resilience, scalability and disaster recovery, optimising performance, security and cost
• Provide technical leadership during implementation, support development, testing, deployment and transition to operation, and resolve architectural issues
• Research emerging technologies and contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps and technology strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• 10 years of experience in IT, software development, infrastructure or solution design
• At least 3 years in a Solution Architect or similar architecture role
• Experience implementing large-scale enterprise applications; banking, financial services or digital transformation experience preferred
