Lead Generation & Sales Support Specialist

About the role

GEM Korea needs a Lead Generation Specialist who builds a quality prospect pipeline for Korean companies, finds, approaches and qualifies them, then hands them to the Sales Team Leader in Seoul. The role also supports sales and marketing tasks. It is based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.

Key responsibilities

• Build lists of target companies and contacts in Korea according to the Team Leader's direction.
• Reach out proactively by email, LinkedIn and phone in Korean.
• Qualify leads on need, budget, authority and timing, and hand qualified leads to the Team Leader.
• Keep the CRM up to date and submit a weekly lead report.
• Research customers, markets and competitors ahead of meetings.
• Support marketing and sales with event invitee lists and content and material research.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in lead generation, sales development (SDR), B2B research or a similar role.
• Experience in the IT industry is a strong advantage.
• Good Korean proficiency (TOPIK level 5 or above) and working-level English.
• Proactive, persistent, detail-oriented, with good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with prospecting tools, basic understanding of IT services, software development or IT outsourcing, and previous work with Korean clients, partners or teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems and email outreach tools.
• Good research, data analysis and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets.
