Embedded Software Developer - Flash Bootloader

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Company Limited (BGSV), Bosch's software development centre in Ho Chi Minh City, is looking for a Flash Bootloader Developer. The role is fully responsible for developing the Flash Bootloader solution for completed software running on ECUs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Flash Bootloader software
• Handle communication protocols, diagnostic services, flashing and security based on AUTOSAR
• Define and evaluate customer-specific flashing sequences
• Analyse SW requirements related to flashing and support customers in problem solving

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
• 1-2 years of automotive embedded experience
• Good coding skills in C and scripting languages (CAPL, Python, etc.)
• Good oral and written English, able to communicate daily with foreign colleagues and suppliers
• Familiarity with the software development process and toolchain; knowledge of the V-model is preferred

Required skills

• AUTOSAR (COM, Diag, Security), especially UDS ISO14229; FBL (Flash Bootloader) experience preferred
• Vector CAN debugging and Lauterbach debugging
• Infineon Tricore and Renesas SOC familiarity preferred
• Flash/EEPROM concepts, memory layout, CAN/CANFD/ETH and FlexRay
• Nice to have: Chinese or Japanese
