Senior Automation Test Lead - AI Global Product

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSV), the first Bosch software development centre in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Senior Automation Test Lead / Quality Engineering Lead for its AI Global Product. The product is a low-code workflow and approval platform built on OutSystems, evolving into an AI-native platform with GenAI and agentic AI, serving nearly 500,000 users and about 1,000 internal customers. The role is long term: about 70% hands-on quality engineering and automation, and 30% team leadership and coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the end-to-end test and Quality Engineering strategy, including risk-based testing, quality gates, release criteria and KPIs such as automation coverage and defect leakage.
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks with Playwright in Python, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and reduce flaky tests.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria, improve testability and Definition of Ready, and promote quality-by-design.
• Strengthen API, integration, performance, load, stress, scalability, resilience and recovery testing, working with Architecture, DevOps, Security and Operations.
• Apply AI to test design, data, automation, defect analysis and regression, explore agentic AI for test generation and execution, and measure its value.
• Lead and mentor up to five QA engineers, coach them in automation, product knowledge and AI, and lead root-cause analysis.
• Monitor test execution, defects and automation health, and produce dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
